(she/her/hers)
Trisha Sverns is WMPC’s Chief Operating Officer. She has deep roots at WMPC, as she worked closely with us throughout our pilot phased and sat on multiple workgroups and advisory boards. She has lots of experience in local and state child welfare and a strong commitment and passion to anti-racism work. Her role at WMPC aligns with her desire to continue to impact the child welfare system in West Michigan through strong partnerships with our partner agencies.
Trisha has a multi-decade career and a multi-disciplinary perspective incorporating prevention and placement, as well as clinical expertise. She has a Bachelors in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She enjoys traveling, her family, and doing hot yoga for self-care.
