Phalesha Kyes, our Office Administrator, shared about Kent County’s first ever Reunification Day. WMPC, in collaboration with Michigan Department of Health and human Services and Kent County circuit court are hosting this event to celebrate families who have successfully reunified with their children after navigating through the foster care system. Sponsored by the John Ball Zoo the event will consist of a light dinner; short program including keynote speech from Michigan Supreme Court Justice Megan Cavanagh; families who have successfully reunified wo will courageously share their journeys; and exhibit booths from community partners.
